Per Hornets PR Staff:
NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans Hornets will host an Open House event for the general public on Sunday, Aug. 23 from 1-3 p.m. at the New Orleans Arena. Fans who are interested in purchasing partial plans or full season tickets can select their seats for the 2009-10 season during this event.

"The Open House will allow fans to pick out the best available seats for the upcoming season and give them a preview of the game-night atmosphere at Hornets home games," said Hornets Executive Officer of the Board Chad Shinn. "We hope our fans are excited for what promises to be another successful season in New Orleans."

In addition to the appearance by Hornets forward Julian Wright, the event will also feature Hugo, Honeybees, Buzz Patrol, Hornets locker room tours, giveaways and contests on the Hornets' court. Free parking is available in Lot 3.

The Hornets offer a ticket plan for every fan with full season tickets, half season options and three 12-game partial plans starting as low as $168 for the 2009-10 season. Each plan gives fans the opportunity to see Hornets superstar Chris Paul and company in action against some of the most talented athletes in the world and enjoy exclusive benefits as part of the Hornets season ticket family.

For details about Hornets season tickets or partial plans, please call 504-525-HOOP or visit Hornets.com and select 2009-10 season tickets under the Ticket tab.
