We always get asked what Chris Paul is like and all that kind of stuff.

But is there really any question that he wants to do as much as he can for the city he lives in? And by my standards, that makes him an alright guy in my book.

CP3 is set to host the inaugural CP3 Big Easy Gala a week from today on July 2. Proceeds will go to the CP3 Foundation and all money will stay within the New Orleans community.

You heard that right. All proceeds will stay inside the NOLA community.

"I'm excited to finally host the gala event here in New Orleans," Paul said in a news release. "My heart belongs to this city and it's a blessing to be able to host an elegant event like this to help raise money to rebuild and renew my hometown of New Orleans."

Tables are going for $3,000 and includes seating for 10 and recognition in the gala's program.
