Scott's thoughts:
"I like what the Hornets are trying to do - keep the tempo up. They're trying to use their inexperienced legs. You saw David West do what he's been doing all season, beat guys down low and take them for the outside shot. But their defense is as good as I've seen them play in the playoffs."

And me:
I assume Scott means that the Hornets are younger and not as old when he says their inexperienced legs. I think if Chris Paul can just get his shots to fall, this game wouldn't even be close.

But he just hasn't been the same since Game 3 of the Dallas series. He had 20-plus points in Game 5 of that series, but he wasn't nearly as devastating. And he's been mostly silent in this game.

Maybe he'll turn it up in the fourth.
