So here we are ...on the eve of game 4..I'm watching the Cavaliers whip up on the Celtics..and it got me to thinking...the celtics finished the regular season with the best overall record..they were heavily favored to beat the cavs...and here's the might green men struggling..

just goes to show you that even the mighty can be humbled...home court helps but you still have to play the game...and that's the attitude i got from the hornets this morning. they have a 2-1 lead in their series witht he spurs..but the feeling here in this town si that the series is back in the spurs favor. Mainly because they've been here and done this..but, need I remind everyone that the last time the spurs were down oh-2, they lost all four games..

what am i getting to here? simply put...experience in the playoffs is nice..but it's not mandatory...and this just feels like the hornets time of year even though they've never made it past this point in the playoffs.

24 hours from now, the first quarter will be over and odne with between the bees and spurs. i'm excited for what lies ahead...actually, maybe a bit nervous..but that's ok. the playoffs have that affect on you.

saints rookie camp is underway...the shell shockers play their home opener tomorrow night..and topping it all..the hornets continue their playoff push with game4 tomorrow night. it's another great weekend to be a NEW ORLEANS sports fan.
