ESPN Report: Bryant bests Paul for MVP

ESPN is reporting that the Lakers Kobe Bryant will be the league's MVP when the voting is officially announced this week.

As much as I would have loved to have seen Chris Paul win the award, I can't argue with this choice, nor could I have argued with LeBron or Garnett. This will be remembered as a year when any of four guys could have won the award.

For the record, if I had a ballot, my choice would have been 1-Paul, 2-LeBron, 3-Kobe, 4-Garnett.

Chris Paul could have easily matched Kobe Bryant's scoring average, but he is more of a complete all- around player that likes to run the offense and get his teammates involved. Paul led the league in assists and steals in addition to being near the top in scoring.
