Stackhouse adds some spice to series

Scott Cody in Dallas writes:

After watching all of the teams that were down 0-2 win last night, I knew game 3 in Dallas would be interesting. Then Mavericks forward Jerry Stackhouse went and made it all the more interesting. On a local radio talk show, Stackhouse told a story involving he and Byron Scott earlier in the season. Stackhouse said the converstation went something along the lines of Scott telling him to keep quiet until he has a championship ring. Stackhouse then said if he had played Magic, Kareem and Worthy, he would have had a ring as well. Stackhouse went on to call Scott a sucker and said he even wanted to fight him.

Byron Scott laughed off the comments today at the Hornets shootaround before game three, but you get the sense this game could be even more physical than game one. Dallas is a desperate team and will do anything to avoid an 0-3 hole to the Hornets.

This is now the second Maverick player to rip Byron Scott. Jason Kidd when the two were together in Jersey and now Stackhouse. The Hornets players are very well aware of this situation.

By the way, I'm adding David West to the list of guys I would love to have on my side in a fight. That lists includes, but is not limited to, Mike Karney, Ed Orgeron and Mike Tyson.

Stackhouse needs to shut up. What did he say to Scott to warrant that response? Scott was a very pivotal piece of that Showtime Lakers era. When naming those players you will always mention Scott along with Worthy, Kareem and Magic. People can't even remember what teams Stackhouse has been on. LOL!

It is sad that when a team does not have anytype of leadership the levels they will sink to. Scott was a great player for the Lakers in there 80`s run. Stackhouse would not even been a bench player for that great team. Take that to the bank.

Scott is a joke. Silas won 40 plus games and goes to the playoffs with old injured deadbeats and gets fired. Floyd won 40 plus games and goes to the playoffs with old injured deadbeats and gets fired. Scott gets hired, had the same old injured deadbeats and wins 18 games. They then give him about 3 roster overhauls and contract extensions. He now has allstars on his roster and gets to the playoffs for the first time. unbelievable.
