The Spurs defeated the Suns 4-1 in the five-game series to make their way to the second round where they will face the Hornets.

Let it never be said that the Hornets are taking the easy way in the playoffs. They'll face the defending champions, and if, if, they were to make the Finals they would probably also have to face the Lakers and then the Celtics or Pistons. Whew!

Isn't it great that there is no real dominant team in the NBA, rather there are several with a real chance to go all the way, but for whichever team wins it all, there will be many great battles. Let's hope the Hornets win a majority of their battles and end up the champions we Hornets fans already know they are.
