From the Associated Press: The NBA has suspended San Antonio's Bruce Bowen for one game. It's his punishment for kicking the Hornets' Chris Paul during Wednesday night's loss to New Orleans. Bowen will sit out tonight's game at Detroit, ending the longest consecutive games streak in the league at 500. Besides his streak, Bowen will lose about $373,000. 2 CommentsLeave a comment |

Glad to see, but that play pretty much stirred up the Hornets nest and it was never close again after that.
He makes $373,000 per game? That can't be right. That would be over 30 million per year.
What I hate about NBA post reviews and suspensions is, the suspension favors the team that follows. Now the Piston's get a slight edge in their game.
Similar to when Ely got his face busted up, and the NBA later suspended the guy that did it. Instead suspend them the next time the teams meet. In the case of Ely, we lost a player for the game, while the other team is at full power and then don't lose a player till their next game.
The NBA needs to look into moving back the camera crews that sit "behind" the goals. For two consecutive games, the Hornets have had each of their All-Stars injured from something that can be easily prevented. With the amount of money every team has invested in its players, you would think they would push for change!
