February 2008 ArchivesIncluding Friday night's sellout - the Hornets third in the past four games, New Orleans is now averaging 13,743, nearly 160 more than after Wednesday night's sellout. For the month of February, New Orleans Arena is getting 16,259 fans, well above the 14,750 threshold. This needs pointing out again - all attendance figures are from Dec. 1 on, as that's when the current agreemen... Former Hornet P.J. Brown, who was rumored to be in the Hornets' sights has signed with the Celtics to, he says, pursue a championship. ...You had to see last night coming. The Hornets, despite a three-game losing streak, has played well against Phoenix this season and there was no reason to think Wednesday would be different. And the last few big games at the Arena have been rocking. The result: A 120-103 Hornets win in front of the largest crowd of the year, 17,931. So, that should help the attendance figures, right?
