Daily Oklahoman: Hornets will not reach numbers

Darnell Mayberry of NewsOK.com says the Hornets could be free to move before Oklahoma City would be free to take them. That's because Seattle has the first right to OKC.

Mayberry says there is no way the Hornets will reach their attendance goals. After 9,000+ in attendance last night, he's probably right.

What is it to OKC what happens to the Hornets? The Hornets went there because of Katrina so then OKC turns around with a cheap shot and tries to strike another blow to New Orleans by taking the team. Why don't they go do whatever it is they do in Oklahoma and leave the Hornets alone. I'm really sick of hearing about Oklahoma especially with the Sonics moving there.
