I arrived early this morning. Didn't matter. The fans were here lined up at least 1,000 yards from the entrance, if not farther.

Despite technical difficulties, we were out here all day Friday for Day 1 of training camp.

We recapped the second session thusly. Session one went this way. And we wrote about how the Saints have turned a stay at home into a training camp atmosphere.

Les East wrote for the Baton Rouge Advocate about the training camp mentality and how the Saints are focused this year in training camp.

For several folks, the defense stood out during both sessions. Over at NewOrleans.com, East wrote how the defense garnered attention while Brady Aymond with he Monroe News-Star says the Saints are finally going with the normal flow this year with the defense being ahead of the offense.

Worried about LB Jonathan Vilma? Aymond says don't be.

Finally, Jeff Duncan at the Times-Picayune had a wonderfully written column about DE Anthony Hargrove. Needless to say, lots of people will be pulling for him this season.
