Plenty of Sunshine Headed Our Way

1:00 PM Fri, Nov 06, 2009 |

High pressure will build in for a fantastic weekend. Temperatures will be cold tonight under clear skies with light winds. Freeze warnings are posted for inland areas as temperatures will potentially dip to or below 32. Near the coast the lows will more likely be in the mid to upper 30s.

We'll enjoy more sunshine Saturday with highs in the lower 60s. Sunday will be mostly sunny with a highs climbing in to the upper 60s. By Monday there will be a few more clouds. Tuesday afternoon and through the overnight we will have our next good shot at scattered showers.

By the latest forecast data, "Ida" is set to move back over the northwest Caribbean and should strengthen back into a tropical storm before moving into the Gulf of Mexico.
