One more day, Hampton Roads. An area of low pressure accelerating to the northeast will yield cloudy skies, cool temperatures, breezy conditions, and light rain and drizzle Sunday. High temperatures once again will be well below normal, in the lower 50s. With winds switching more to the northwest, tide levels Sunday morning should be lower, running about a foot to a foot and a half above normal. This could once again produce some minor tidal flooding at the time of high tide. As the storm system exits, high pressure will build in Monday. Skies will clear Monday morning, and should be mostly sunny by afternoon. Temperatures will rebound, with highs around 60. For Tuesday and Wednesday, skies will be mostly sunny, with highs in the upper 60s and lower 70s. |
