More Temperature Swings Coming

9:05 AM Wed, Oct 28, 2009 |

Relatively warm conditions will build across the region today. Highs should climb into the upper 70s for most areas. South winds will shift westward later today and eventually to the north tomorrow and that will send temperatures downward with highs tomorrow only in the lower to mid 60s. That won't last long. Another surge of warm air will move in Friday into Saturday and so it goes this time of year. We had rain showers and a few isolated storms early this morning. Afternoon conditions should be brighter as the rain moves quickly off to the northeast.

Despite variably cloudy conditions tomorrow, it should be generally dry. For all the little "Boos and Ghouls" trick-or-treating Saturday evening. There is still a low risk of isolated showers. It now looks like the better chance for a few stray showers will come later in the night.
