The clouds have cleared, and for the next several days we will enjoy quite a bit of sunshine. Temperatures will continue to be on the chilly side of normal thanks to a north wind. Highs today will max out in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Tonight the winds will shift northwest and eventually to the west setting up milder weather tomorrow. Tomorrow will find temperatures closer to 70, and the warm up will continue through the week. Next weekend another storm system will plow through the region. Scattered showers and a few storms will be possible by late Friday night into Saturday. Lingering showers should exit early Sunday morning. Tides are still running about 1.5 to 2 feet above normal this morning. Small craft advisories are in effect through this afternoon. |
