Here we go again. After a fantastic stretch of weather this week, the weekend is here and so is another shot at showers or storms. The pattern is progressive through the weekend. We aren't looking at a stalled coastal low washing things out. No, this time our best shot at rain is due to a cold front that will push through late Saturday and move of the coast. Temperatures will be warm ahead of the front with winds blowing from the south at 10 to 20 mph. Highs should reach the low 80s. As the front passes late in the day, isolated to scattered showers will likely develop and there could be a few isolated stronger storms as well. Sunday will be brighter with partly sunny skies and high thin clouds. The winds will shift to the northwest and cooler air will pour into the region. Highs should be in the lower to mid 60s. Monday looks dry early, but showers may develop late. Showers will also be likely Tuesday and later in the week as well. We are also watching the tropics as an area of low pressure near the Bahamas may be getting better organized. |
