But it sure mad an impact. We started Friday with a deluge and ended with strong thunderstorms. At the end of day we'd gotten 2.6 inches at Norfolk International, erasing our rainfall deficit for 2009. And some places got a lot more than that. Fortunately, things have calmed down. It will be cool at the coast, with temperatures in the lower 70s, but mid to upper 70s inland. That's because coastal areas feel more of the effect of cooler air coming in off the ocean. But let's enjoy the respite from the storms, because they'll be back next week. |
