If you haven't liked the muggy air we have seen the past several days, then you are in luck. A cold front stalled across the Carolinas will allow cooler, less humid air into the region for the first half of the work week. But our chances of rain will remain, especially to the south, closer to the stalled front. On Monday, look for a mix of clouds and sun. A wind from the east, off the water, will keep coastal areas a few degrees cooler. Look for highs in the mid 70s along the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean, with highs in the lower 80s away from the coast. There is a chance of a shower or thunderstorm, mainly in the afternoon. As we have seen over the past week, the pop-up showers and thunderstorms can pop-up just about anywhere. So keep the umbrella handy, just in case. |
