A few weeks ago I wrote about how the 3 months (or 91 days) with the hottest average temperatures each year typically occur from June 1st through August 31st. I say typically because this year for example things have gone according to "normal". That is about to change however. Actually, in a way that isn't true either. We will see some hot temperatures coming up late in the week but those readings will be much above normal. It usually works that way. A cool period of weather is often followed by an above normal round of weather and we will also see that the next few days. In fact, by the weekend temperatures will be into the 90s and the heat index will be even hotter. |
