The air quality is better than it has been in a while. The wild fire at the Great Dismal Swamp is still smoldering but the smoke doesn't seem as widespread or dense as it has been.
We will still have areas of smoke across southside Hampton Roads thanks to the SW winds that will blow today, tonight and tomorrow. We have a chance of isolated to scattered showers and storms for the next few days. By Friday winds should shift to the north behind a cold front that will slip through the area.
