We will find the winds blowing from the southwest at 10-15 mph today which will bring more smoke to southside Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina. Tomorrow the winds will shift to the west bringing the region slightly cooler weather (highs in the lower 80s) and improved air quality over the northern three-quarters of the 13News viewing area.

Temps will start to warm again on Wednesday and Thursday.
