It was a busy afternoon in the Weather Lab, as severe storms moved through western Hampton Roads. But it seems like we escaped some of the stronger storms. Near Sparta in Carolina County, the National Weather Service reported a possible tornado, damaging a barn. And east of Mechanicsville in King William County, another barn was damaged as witnesses reported seeing a tornado as well.
