Often we talk about a rollercoaster ride with the temperatures. The last few days have been a perfect example. On Monday we hit 78 degrees which was a record for December 10th. The following day we saw a huge drop in temperatures with afternoon highs in the lower 50s. That isn't all that unusual, it probably happens a few times a year. What is extremely unusual is to then have another record high the following day. Occasionally we get some big swings like that and we often refer to them as a rollercoaster ride, but they always occur over the span of 4 or 5 days, if not more. One this is for sure, the records are a thing of the past, so I hope you had a chance to enjoy it while it lasted. |
