The Mid-Atlantic regioin is bracing for wintry weather and here in Hampton Roads we should get much needed rain. A Winter Storm Watch was posted as of Friday morning for the the western and northern parts of Virginia. Folks in those areas are bracing for snow, sleet, and freezing rain during the day Saturday and into Sunday. Locally, we should get all rain. Of course, we will be watching the temps and the precipitation very closely, especially early Sunday morning. The immediate area should stay in the 40s, but the region just west of Richmond and Petersburg may get cool enough to make it more interesting. We'll see. Have a great weekend, there's not much time left until Christmas! |
