Okay, I have to admit it... as a University of Missouri Alum who attended from the late 80s to early 1990s, I don't know too much about having a great football program. But this weekend, we get a shot... We get a shot at winning and going to the BCS Championship game. When I attended MIZZOU, we would yell out the Tiger's offensive strategy... "Up the middle, up the middle, up the middle, punt!" That was all the offense could seemingly do. It was tailgait party, go watch the first half of the game (score- Visitors: a lot, Mizzou: a little), then go to "Harpo's" (a Columbia Mo. social hot spot) to further discuss yet another frusterating football season. TIMES HAVE CHANGED !!! Can OU beat Mizzou? No question. Is Mizzou a legit program with a real shot at the national title? ABSOLUTELY! You can bet my eyes will find the game Saturday night and hopefully they will be filled with tears of joy! With you, with you, with you... Mizzou. |
