Ingrid on the ropes...

The National Hurricane Center has issued its last advisory for Ingrid as the storm has been sheared apart. If the storm regenerates, they will resume updates.

Humberto inland, watching TD#8?

Humberto came ashore over east Texas and western Louisiana as a Cat 1 hurricane. It is fairly compact hurricane but is moving along this morning at about 9 mph. Flooding rains will likely be an issue for western Louisiana.

It was the storm that wasn't. Or at least wasn't much!

Okay, the forecast track was very good but when Gabby came through she left the tropical rain down over south and southeastern North Carolina. I called Jeff from the baseball diamond while I was coaching yesterday and he pointed out that this was one of the most unusual tropical storms he could remember with the center of circulation so far away from the precipitation. The win...
