I've always had a competitive streak. It started when I was a small child, blossomed through my teenage years, and sticks with me now that I'm an adult.
For some reason I love visiting elementary schools. Maybe it's because my mom's a first grade teacher and I grew up helping her decorate her classroom, watching her school plays, and occassionally speaking to her students.
Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life. And thanks to her mother, a friend of mine's wedding day was. She got married a few weeks ago and I was lucky enough to be there to watch her say her vows, cut the cake, and dance around with her crazy friends and family at the reception.
