1. M*A*S*H - Call me a sentimental fool, but some of my fondest memories as a child involve sitting in the living room on Saturday afternoon watching M*A*S*H re-runs with my Dad. I think in the 27 years I've been alive we've seen nearly all of them. Every once in a while, I'll get a call from Dad that he's just watched one of those rare episodes that we haven't seen together, and I get sad.
2. Beverly Hills, 90210 - This show is to my Mom and I what M*A*SH is to me and my Dad.
3. Dawson's Creek - Oh, am I going to be teased for admitting this one. I'll give my co-workers even more ammo and admit I have ALL six seasons on DVD. It was a show that stung my sappy teenage heart.
4. Grey's Anatomy - Yes, it's a runaway hit for ABC. Yes, it often makes some interesting commentary on society. I'll admit though, that's not what drew me to the show in the first place -- that honor belongs to Patrick Dempsey.
5. Sex and the City - The trials and tribulations of four Manhattan women was to my early 20s what Dawson's Creek was to my teens.
6. Saved by the Bell - Anybody else seeing a trend of cheesy, sappy shows?
7. Friends - Apparently, I also have a thing for completely unrealistic shows set in Manhattan.
8. Full House - Set in San Francisco, I couldn't get enough of the patched-together, funny family and their sometimes alegorical storylines. I may have forced Mom and Dad to watch the final episode with me. Sorry.
9. Desperate Housewives - Like Grey's Anatomy, I still watch this one obsessively. Watching the women of Wisteria Lane became a Sunday night tradition for me and my production crew at my old station in Redding, California.
10. SportsCenter - Again, this one is still running, and is some of the finest programming on television. Except when they're running San Francisco 49ers lowlights.
