I love what I do for a living, but as you well know...we all need a break sometimes. I can't wait to go home and give my parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and especially my godson Quinn a huge hug.

And for the next week, I'll be doing something even more therapeutic than that...I'll be reading the newspaper and watching local news without thinking about how I can advance the story -- what a treat. (This will also give Mike Gooding and Kristina Rohall a chance to catch up on their blogging...)

So, I'll see you (or rather you'll see me) in a week!
