You see, I'm habitually late. I blame my job. I spend so much time trying to meet the constant deadlines of a television news environment, that I have very little energy to show up on time and on schedule anywhere else.

I'm aware of my problem and it's tendency to mess with the lives of others. Consequently, I set all of my clocks at different times so I never know what time it is and move faster. Last Sunday, I woke up thoroughly confused because my BlackBerry had already fallen back, but none of my other clocks had. I was so befuddled by the situation I ended up calling my mother in California to find out what time actually was.

So, thank heavens that clocks were officially rolled back today....my life finally makes sense again.
