Veteran's Day was earlier this week so I'm a little late, but I have the utmost respect and appreciation for our military men and women.
At a time of year most of us are thinking about spending time with family and friends, many of them are leaving town.
Thanksgiving and Christmas will be spent overseas, serving their country in a foreign place.
Of course we know that they signed up for it and all that, but what a tremendous sacrifice.
All the traditions that so many families have, are postponed.
The celebrations they hold dear, put on hold.
Their holidays will be with spent with their fellow servicemembers.
I'm sure in some ways that has it's own reward, but nothing replaces time at home with family and friends.
So here's a big belated Veteran's Day thank you for all those who have served and are currently serving.
