Did you know...

7:47 PM Wed, Mar 25, 2009 |

I learned today the Half Moon Cruise Terminal in downtown Norfolk is open anytime for people who want to enjoy the view from the deck? All you have to do is take the elevator to the second floor to drink it all in.There are a few chairs and tables there if you'd like to sit a spell.

Breaking Bad Habits

10:14 AM Sun, Mar 22, 2009 |

Looking for Some Good Economic News?

8:32 PM Wed, Mar 04, 2009 |

It's not uncommon for people to come up to me and say, "How about some good news tonight?" I've come to learn that's code for, "How about fewer crime stories?"

Today, it seems the good news people really want to hear is good news about the economy. A single shread of good news would help.

As I read the newspaper each day, I've decided the really good news about the economy is in the sports pages.

The sports section i...
