I have to admit I was one of those people who thought if you're eating fruit then you're doing something good. Turns out in theory I'm right.... but you can also get too much of a good thing. I met up with fitness expert and nutritionist Jim White recently in his studio and we talked about ways to save money but still eat healthy. He showed me what a regular size apple and banana are suppose to look like and let me tell you they were at least half the size I'm use to eating. So it turns out that I'm not only spending more money to get those "super size" apples and bananas I buy but I'm also taking in about 100 to 150 more calories than I am suppose to in a serving. |
