Looks like the holidays might actually be affordable this year. That is if my son continues to appreciate stickers as much as he does now. I discovered his fascination quite by accident. See he loves to enjoy a banana as part of his breakfast every morning. I know boring but it works. Anyway this week he wanted to eat the banana whole instead of having me cut it up into bite size pieces. So while I was holding the banana waiting for him to finish what he had in his mouth before I let him take another bite he discovered the sticker on the banana. Basically it's put there to tell you what brand of banana your buying but to my son it was like the best thing he had ever seen. I kid you not we were playing with that sticker for at least ten minutes. We could have gone longer but it was starting to lose it "stickiness". I'd put it on him... he'd put it on me then it would go back on the banana and we would start all over again.
So of course I got to thinking. With the economy the way it is and the holidays right around the corner maybe this is the year of the sticker! I figure I could buy a big stack of them. Not only would it be light on the wallet but it would definitely provide hours of entertainment plus they don't require batteries. Now I just have to convince my husband.. wish me luck!
