Last Sunday as you know was a special day..it was Mother's Day. But it was extra special for me because it was my first Mother's Day. Sure I got flowers and a wonderful homemade breakfast. But the my favorite thing about the whole day was spending a quiet morning at home just hanging out with the family. Yes later in the day we went to see my mom and my mother-in-law and that was fun and we enjoyed it. But in our hustle and bustle world it seem my husband, son and I rarely get a chance to just hang out and be a family.
I have to admit it's those rare moments that to me are the most precious. You know what I mean that time when dusting and cleaning are the last things on your mind and you just push the laundry that needs folding off to the side of the couch and relax with your loved ones.
Now I just have to figure out how to make more of those moments happen not just on Mother's Day.. But Everyday!
