I remember as a child hearing adults talk about how the older you get the faster time seems to fly. At the time I sure didn't understand what they were talking about. I mean to me it seemed like a school day lasted a week and it took forever for the weekend to get here. But now that I'm a mom and well past my school days I completely agree time is flying by.
The real proof of that came last week when my little boy, who I would swear was just born yesterday, turned one year old. Yes twelve months have flown by. We mastered sitting up, crawling, we're very close to walking on our own and within the last month we have gotten our first four teeth. That's some pretty impressive progress in just 52 short weeks. But I have to tell you the time has flown by... I look back at pictures now and I'm trying to remember when he was that little baby. He's now a little man. The scary part is everyone's telling me it's just going to get faster. So I'm taking lots of pictures and trying my best to enjoy and remember every moment... and in a few years when my son complains that it takes forever for the weekend to get here I'll be able to tell him "just wait.. it gets faster I promise."
