If you drive a car then you know the price of gas has gone up dramatically in the past few weeks. Today alone the price of a barrel reached an all time high of $102. So of course we're all paying more for gas. While I don't like it, I pay it. Because like most people I need my car to get to and from work.
But earlier this week I ran to the store to pick up diapers for my son and saw a price increase I wasn't use to. The price of diapers has gone up a lot. The mega pack of diapers I usually purchase at a super club store costs me a little more than three dollars extra this time. The woman in the aisle with me said the pull-up diapers she uses for her toddler have gone up six dollars.
So I checked around at other stores and it seems across the board diapers are up. So are a lot of other items on many grocery lists and experts are saying it's going to get worse before it gets better.
I know I'm going to have to continue to drive to work and my son will continue to wear diapers, at least for a few more months. But like many people I'm looking for places to cut back. So if you have any money saving ideas, please share. I know lots of folks who could use them.
