Okay technically i'm not sure if what I had was a bug or a virus (I need to check with Medical Editor Kathryn Barrett on that one) But all I do know is that whatever it was knocked me out cold. I honestly can't remember the last time I was that sick.
I think it must have come my way because I was commenting to everyone how I had managed not to get the illness that my 8 month old son brought home from school and gave to my husband. Yep I was the last to get it and I think the hardest hit, although my husband may disagree with me.
I'm usually a pretty healthy person so for me to get something that knocks me out is rare. But I have to tell you while I was feeling my worse and bartering with God to make me feel better I kept thinking how do single moms do it. I just can't imagine being as sick as I was and having to take care of my son all by myself. There is no way.
My husband deserves a medal he was wonderful taking care of me, our son and working at his job. I know I hear all the moms out there saying hey we do things like that all the time. Yes it's true women may be a little better in the multi-tasking department but my husband sure impressed me. I mean I already knew he was a great guy.. I married him right. But this is the first time since the birth of our son that I have been really sick. In fact it might be the first time since we got married that i've been really sick. Guess it's just nice to see those vows we took put to the test and come through with flying colors.

I never get sick, I can't remember the last time I got sick. It's been years. Last Fri. after work I came home with a small sore throat, by Sat. morning I was in full blown body arrest. I thought it was the flu but wasn't sure. I Googled Flu and cold symptoms to find out witch. Suprise, Suprise, I had all symptoms of both afflictions. Here it is Fri. morning again and after losing 90% of all my bodily fluids and One of my lungs to coughing, I am finally going back to work this morning (I think, It's still early). It was not just a bug it was the whole Phylum. I also have a great spouse, been married 20yrs this April, takes care of everything when I not able to. Never ceases to ammaze me.
