Take the experience I got the other morning.. or should I say middle of the night when I went to go check on my son because he was rustling around. It was three in the morning so I was a little sleepy and yes it took me a few minutes to get to his room. But when I got there boy did I wake up fast.
There was my little man sitting up and waiting for me. At seven and a half months he's easily able to sit up on his own. But until that day he had never done it on his own in his crib. Quite the wakeup call for a new parent. We've already moved the crib matteras down a notch. But now I think we're going to move it down another one. After all sitting up leads to standing up and we all know especially with active little boys standing up can lead to crawling out of the crib. Looks like we'll be spending our weekend baby-proofing the house..
If you have any advice i'm definitely open to it....
