Have you seen some of the questions posted for the CNN/YOUTUBE debate? Of course many of them are dignified, intelligent, tough, and important, but others are truly ridiculous.
Jeanie Moose recently did a package featuring some of the questions that got the boot, like the ones from people dressed as a devil, dressed as elvis, and a ninja.
Also questions like these were ignored for obvious reason.
"If you were really drunk, would you hook up with Anne Coulture?"
"If you were a superhero, who would it be and how would you use your power to save the world?"
Give me a break.
And this is my favorite, "What does it feel like to be a funky fresh pimpnizzle?"
A pimpnizzle? What in the world is that?
Thank goodness for the staff at CNN who screen the five thousand questions before submitting them to the candidates. They should not have to be subjected to this kind of torture.
I think the the YOUTUBE debates are cutting edge. The idea is awesome. It inspires the young generation, (the Youtube generation) to get involved, while giving the country a glimpse of their minds.
It is impressive to see they are inquisitive, many of their questions are challenging, thought provoking and smart.
But I guess there will always be people trying to be funny or lame.....at least they got their 15 seconds of fame.
God bless the YOUTUBE GENERATION, and God bless the CNN STAFF.
