This year as you know has been a pretty life changing one for me. Believe it or not it has been six months since I gave birth to my son and I haven't had a full night sleep since then. But i'm certainly not complaining. In fact sometimes I'm amazed at how much I am able to get done on such a small amount of sleep, who knew.
So this Thanksgiving as our family gathers together we will be giving thanks for a lot of wonderful things including the newest addition.. little Parker. I'm looking forward to teaching him all our Holiday traditions and of course starting some new ones with him. The tradition I always like is the one where we go around the table before our big meal and say what we're thankful for... it's a great way to really see what's important in our loved ones lives. I'm sure we'll give thanks for our freedom and the men and women who are fighting for it. There will no doubt be a thank you for our family and the chance to gather together. For me this year I am thankful for so many things it's difficult to just pick one. But no surprise I would have to say I'm thankful for the gift of my son. In his short six months he's already brought a lifetime of joy to our lives.... and i'm told the best is yet to come. I can't wait.
