hey everyone - this is my very first blog so i hope you can bear with me. i am working on some very interesting special reports that you will see soon on 13news daybreak. my goal is to develop stories that impact your life - make things easier on you - inform you - and highlight people in our area who make hampton roads a great place to live. for instance - i found a "secret" way to avoid all those long lines at the dmv......we're taking you behind the scenes with the military to show you how they save lives - and no other local reporter has ever been allowed to do what i'm about to show you in the coming weeks. we're also highlighting the efforts of teenagers who are trying to prevent teen suicide, and showing you positive ways they are contributing to our community through their schools. i like reporting the positive things that happen in our community - there is more that occurs in hampton roads than the crime and violence you may see on the news everyday. look for my special reports this november on 13news daybreak - weekday mornings from 5-7am. thanks so much for watching 13news: the spirit of hampton roads....and for reading my first blog! lasalle
