A couple friends of mine are living out a dream. They've packed up their stuff, sold their house and set out to try and combine their love of travel with a career in tv.
For years, Dusty Green was a great news reporter for KVII-TV the ABC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas.
Now Dusty and his wife, Nikki, have set out on a new adventure. They've developed a show called, "Two for the Road."
Their plan is to travel the world, spend a week in each stop, shoot footage, do as many interviews as possible and put together a 30-minute show.
Their idea is somewhat of a knock off of the Travel Channel show called, "1,000 places to See Before You Die."
Most of us only dream of having the time, or the money, or the sense of adventure to travel the world, so Dusty and Nikki will take us there.
They've started their adventure in Costa Rica, and they have plans to move on to countries in South America, like Argentine and Chile.
They also have plans to visit Europe.
Dusty is a great story teller, and he says the adventure exciting, but scary.
