But I want to know what sense does it make to buy large amounts of candy for Halloween, hand out large amount of candy to our friends, neighbors, colleagues and even our own children, and then throw away large amounts of candy. Given the poor health issues facing our nation, why can't we come up with a fall celebration that makes sense.
