It's funny all of my friends without children were the ones who told me life would be drastically different. No surprise my friends with children told me my life was about to get even better... and both were right.

Life is definitely different and no doubt better. It's funny being woken up in the middle of the night doesn't seem so bad when you're greeted by the sweet smile of your son. And seeing things through the eyes of a baby is such a treat. It makes you realize how much we take for granted when you see a baby just staring at his hands and wondering all the great things he can do with them.

And yes I believe having a child does make you a different person. Stories in the news that involve children are of greater interest to me and I want to do all I can to help make my child successful. That being said I'm always open to advice. So if anyone has some great words of wisdom you can pass along to this new mom i'm all ears.
