I was very nervous starting the internship here because of the opportunity I faced. Not every student gets a chance to work as an intern in a top 50 market. I knew coming into this that I would leave a much better journalist than when I started. I am now in my fourth week here and I am loving every minute of it. There are so many experiences that have helped me grow, so many things that I couldn't possibly touch on. I enjoy going out in the field with reporters and seeing just how much they have an impact on the community. Hopefully, one day I will be in the position they are in.
