Even though we aren't anywhere close to the Gulf Coast, we are still watching the tropics with great interest. The very latest from the NHC puts the remnants of Ike on top of us by late Sunday and early Monday. That could mean some serious rains. Even before that might happen, we will be pretty unsettled from Friday through the weeknd thanks to a lingering cold front.
Ohhhh, how I love the approach of Fall! Dry air returning makes everyone a bit more giddy. Outdoor plans are a must over the next two days. It will be turning sunny and dry with low humidities. Enjoy! The end of the week and weekend look pretty wet at this point. A lot of tropical moisture appears to be heading our way, so we may just get more of that needed rain.
