Those autumn cold fronts are getting more and more potent. Winter Storm Watches are now posted through Monday morning for areas of Nebraska and South Dakota, where 3-6" of snow could fall. A little snow has already fallen, as seen in this Nebraska Department of Roads webcam from today, looks cold to me!

This is along I-80, near the town of Brady.

Temperatures got down to the teens last night in the Northern Plains and Rockies. It won't be too long before we start to feel some chills. We may see our first 30s this season Friday and Saturday nights. Just take a look at our 7 day forecast.
A little patchy frost is possible in some low-lying, sheltered areas in southern Indiana tonight. Areas north of I-70 have Freeze Warnings tonight! Here's the NWS special weather statement for southern Indiana...
...PATCHY FROST POSSIBLE TONIGHT ACROSS SOUTHERN INDIANA...
OVERNIGHT TEMPERATURES WILL FALL INTO THE MID TO UPPER 30S ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN INDIANA. WHILE WIDESPREAD FROST IS NOT
ANTICIPATED SOME AREAS MAY SEE PATCHY FROST DEVELOP...ESPECIALLY
IN LOW LYING AREAS PROTECTED FROM WIND. PRECAUTIONS SHOULD BE
TAKEN TO PROTECT ANY SENSITIVE PLANTS LEFT OUTDOORS TONIGHT.
