Nation's Winter Outlook

8:43 PM Sat, Oct 17, 2009 |

First there was Apparent Solar Time (True Local Time)... For hundreds of years people have measured time based on the position of...

Let's Talk Snow

9:11 PM Sun, Oct 11, 2009 |

It's that time of year guys! It may just be early fall, but snow has fallen this early in the season before.

- The earliest trace of snowfall occurred as early as October 3rd , 1980.

- A whopping 13.1" of snow fell on November 2 and 3rd back in 1966.

I don't see any of that in the 7 day forecast, but cold weather will arrive next Friday...
