What a Day

11:47 PM Tue, Jun 02, 2009 |

A strong southerly flow really juiced up our atmosphere today pushing the dewpoints into the 60s (yuck!). By the afternoon temperatures climbed to near 90 degrees and this is what happened...

Strong to severe storms started popping up... This picture was taken by our very own Ben Pine... Pretty Cool...! This storm produced quarter sized hail and gust to near 60 mph as it moved through Bullitt and Nelson County.

Get ready for another round of strong to severe storms tomorrow afternoon... A slow moving front will interact with our moist and unstable airmass... The main threat will be damanging wind, hail and heavy rain. Stay Tune...
